I cannot believe that sweet little Claire has had her first birthday! Claire’s mama is one of my besties, one of my go-to girls when I need something, whether it be advice, a good laugh, prayer, you name it. We’ve been friends since our freshman year in college, spent countless days and nights together, and we lived together for nearly four years! So when Rebecca asked me to do Claire’s birthday invitations, not only was I excited, I was so honored! Rebecca wanted sweet, girl, something with cupcakes and of course, a monogram! I couldn’t have been happier with the results!
Here are some pictures, but what you can’t tell from these, are that these invitations have the sweetest little scalloped edge! Thank you Rebecca for letting me try something new!

I had the opportunity to design a 1st birthday invitation for one of my friend’s little boys! She wanted it all boy, with the cute little boy phrase we all know – “snips and snails….”
We were both pleased with how it turned out! Doesn’t that little silhouette boy just make you want to go be outside and climb a tree? Well, maybe not in the summer heat of southeast Texas…
And of course, every one year old needs matching thank you notes…

My sweet friend has difficult pregnancies. And by difficult, I mean stuck in bed for months. It’s not for the faint of heart. We threw her a virtual shower, since she, well, couldn’t get out of bed. We chose the nursery colors as the theme, and picked a swirly damask because she loves it, and it makes her happy.
By the way, once sweet Hunter entered this world, it was all worth it!

I spent a lot of baby B’s first year making and sending out holiday cards, and I had done a few things for friends + family, but my first invitation was done for little B’s first birthday! I loved the way the colors turned out!
